The Red Penguin from Domaine Bassac is a red wine from the IGP Côtes de Thongue appellation. It is composed of Grenache, Syrah, Cabernet Franc and Cabernet Sauvignon, and has been aged for 12 months in barrels. This wine has beautiful notes of red fruits, perfect balance and woody notes. It's easy to drink and great to accompany a barbecue. It can be stored for 5 to 8 years and should be served at a temperature of 16 to 18°C.  Its alcohol content is 13.5%.

Located in Puissalicon, a small medieval village in the Languedoc, equidistant from Béziers, Pézenas and Bédarieux, Domaine BASSAC has been cultivating the family property with the same passion for several generations.

The vines of Domaine Bassac, spread around the communes of Puissalicon and Thèzan les Béziers, cover about 80 hectares on soils of great diversity.

The varietal and original grape varieties of Domaine Bassac take into account the particularities, the terroir and the exposure of each plot.

With the aim of producing authentic wines with respect for the terroir, nature and the subtle balance that allows the expression of the secret harmony of the soil and the vine, we have chosen to cultivate our vines according to the rules of Organic Farming.

The winery, located in the village of Puissalicon itself, is an old building that has been converted and enlarged over the generations.
