This great Languedoc wine, Domaine Bassac's 2022 Icone rosé is a perfect combination of the Cabernet Franc and Cinsault grape varieties. It has been vinified in barrels and has been aged for 6 months, which gives it an exceptional freshness accompanied by toasted notes. When tasting it, one is surprised by its resemblance to a great white wine, without expecting it to be actually a rosé.

Located in Puissalicon, a small medieval village in the Languedoc, equidistant from Béziers, Pézenas and Bédarieux, Domaine BASSAC has been cultivating the family property with the same passion for several generations.

The vines of Domaine Bassac, spread around the communes of Puissalicon and Thèzan les Béziers, cover about 80 hectares on soils of great diversity.

The varietal and original grape varieties of Domaine Bassac take into account the particularities, the terroir and the exposure of each plot.

With the aim of producing authentic wines with respect for the terroir, nature and the subtle balance that allows the expression of the secret harmony of the soil and the vine, we have chosen to cultivate our vines according to the rules of Organic Farming.

The winery, located in the village of Puissalicon itself, is an old building that has been converted and enlarged over the generations.
