Article: What will change in wine in 2026

Ce qui change dans le vin en 2026

What will change in wine in 2026

The year 2025 was a difficult year for winegrowers.
In France, nearly 27,000 hectares of vines have been uprooted , representing approximately 4% of the vineyard area , as part of the plan to reduce vineyard acreage. This striking figure reveals a sector undergoing profound transformation.

Wine consumption continues to decline.
But one thing is clear, and it remains true:

We drink a little less, but we drink better.

A new way to consume wine

On the ground, during tastings, discussions and meetings with you, the observation is clear.
We automatically drink less wine, but we take more pleasure in sharing a good bottle .

Wine is no longer a reflex.
It becomes a choice.

A choice for a specific moment.
for a table,
for people to share with.

Wine as a creator of moments

Wine makes that possible.
He freezes for a moment.
It accompanies a discussion.
It creates memories.

Today, what matters most is not the quantity, but the intensity of the moment experienced around the bottle.

Taste before the label

In 2026, the label is less impressive.
Prestige gradually gives way to real pleasure in the glass .

Regardless of the name or reputation.
What makes the difference is:

  • understanding wine

  • consistency with the moment

  • the pleasure it provides

Greater understanding.
More fun.
It makes more sense.
And above all, more human connection .

2026: The Year of Intention

Ultimately, what changes in wine in 2026 is not really the wine itself.
These are the reasons why we are opening it .

People drink less for no reason.
We drink more intentionally than instinctively.

Regardless of the type of wine,
What matters is what he creates around the table :
Exchanges, smiles, shared memories.

Drink less, but better

This year, more than ever,
Continue to drink the wines you love, with the people you love.

And if you too believe that wine is above all about moments, sharing, and pleasure,
So we are happy to continue this journey with you.

Sébastien & Raphaël
