Amarone, an exceptional dry red wine made from dried grapes, is the jewel of Valpolicella, offering an unparalleled richness of aromas and flavors. This wine is distinguished by its balance of elegance and power, and its remarkable longevity, made possible by the carefully selected grapes from vineyards over two decades old.

Only the rarest, ripest and most sunny grapes of Corvina (70%), Corvinone (10%), Rondinella (15%) and Molinara (5%) are selected. They are placed in 6 kg crates and dried naturally in granaries for about 100 days.

In January, after all the aromas have been concentrated, the grapes are pressed, some in steel vats and the other in wood. The maceration, which lasts 30 to 40 days, is exceptionally long. The wine is then aged for 36 months in large wooden barrels, before being refined in the bottle for at least a year before being released for sale.
